The Sr. Sales Design Consultant will be a design professional with a strong skill set in cabinetry design and sales. This position will have both contractor and consumer facing showroom sales responsibilities. Proficient use of 20/20 is a must. Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment where exceeding our customer’s expectations is our number one goal.   • Drive sales to meet and exceed sales targets set by Store Manager
  • Conduct daily follow-up on outstanding quotes
  • Develop repeat sales, new relationships and future business
  • Ensure that each Customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a customer friendly and a professional environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, and maintaining professional standard
  • Assume Leadership Role with Companies Key Initiatives
  • Working with trade professionals and their clients, to design and quote Kitchen and Bath projects
  • Designing kitchens, bathrooms, bars, entertainment systems etc. using 20/20 software
  • Quoting and managing the full cycle ordering process for all kitchen and bath projects from inception to completion in a timely and accurate manner using the business computer system
  • Perform plan takeoffs, generating detailed designs using 20-20 Design software and pricing
  • Work with clients to create their dream kitchen and or bathroom
  • Ensure familiarity with and continue to learn new kitchen and bath home fashion trends; utilize both cabinetry and plumbing knowledge to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives
  • Take and complete ongoing product and manufacturing training as required by Manager
  • Conduct daily follow-up on outstanding quotes and orders to ensure customer satisfaction and service
  • Participate in planning and execution of in-store events
  • Develop repeat sales, new relationships and future business
  • Network with the professional trade through involvement in associations, meetings and events
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a well-organized, aesthetically pleasing environment
  • Develop detailed knowledge of all product lines and features
  • Participate in online learning to supplement product knowledge
  • Complete training courses to continually develop and hone presentation, negotiation and sales skills
  • Assist with normal store maintenance tasks (inventory, display maintenance, literature library, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager


  • Associate or College Degree in interior design or related field preferred
  • Experience in sales/service, preferably in kitchen & bath industry
  • Certification(s) required (CKD, CKB, etc.)
  • Proficient with 20-20 Design and AutoCAD Design Software
  • Experience in pricing and ordering of cabinetry
  • Strong design skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and general internet familiarity
  • Experience reading project blueprints and performing plan takeoffs
  • Ability to be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including retail hours, and occasional evening hours for events
  • Highly personable, skilled at interacting with clients and prospects at a variety of knowledge and comfort levels
  • Open-minded and willing to learn new concepts, products and ideas
